The scene

The open set built for Mr. Sunshine recreates early-1900s Hanseong (old Seoul) with Western-style buildings, tiled-roof hanok, thatched cottages and Japanese-style houses; many of the drama's town scenes were filmed here.

How to get there
KTX from Yongsan to Nonsan Station (about 1 hr 40 min), then 20–25 min by taxi; or express bus from Seoul's Central City Terminal to Yeonmu, then a short taxi ride.
Tip
Open 10:00–18:00 (last entry 17:30), closed Thursdays — check sunshinestudio.co.kr before you go; adults ₩10,000, and 1900s-style outfits can be rented (about ₩25,000 for 2 hours).
