The scene

tvN's 2025 time-slip hit Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, starring Im Yoon-a and Lee Chae-min and streamed worldwide on Netflix, filmed at this 1564 Joseon-era pavilion tucked under a cliff on the Nakdong River. Korean news reported the link when Korea's heritage agency named the area a national Scenic Site in October 2025; the same riverside also appears in Mr. Sunshine.

Getting there

How to get there
Take the KTX-Eum from Cheongnyangni Station in Seoul (some trains start at Seoul Station) to Andong Station, about 2 hours, or an express bus from Dong Seoul or Seoul Express Bus Terminal, about 3 hours; Andong's train station and bus terminal stand side by side. From there, a taxi takes about 50 minutes (roughly 40 km); show the driver 안동 고산정, 가송길 177-42. Buses that pass Gasong-ri run only a couple of times a day, so a taxi is the practical choice. Taxis rarely pass by, so ask your driver to wait or call Dosan Call Taxi (도산콜택시, 054-856-1031) for the ride back.
Bus
Rural bus 512 (Gyeongan Yeogaek) runs toward Cheongnyangsan, and only some of its runs turn into Gasong-ri, so check the day's times with the Andong city bus information service before relying on it.
Admission
Free. Andong's tourism guide points drivers to the Gasong-ri Yedeongil car park as the place to leave the car before walking to the pavilion.
Tip
Open all year, around the clock, and free, with parking and restrooms. You reach the pavilion by crossing a bridge. The classic shot is from the riverbank, with the small pavilion sitting under the tall cliff and the river in front. Autumn colors (late October to early November) and calm mornings are the most beautiful. There are no shops on the riverside trail, so bring water. This is a protected heritage site: keep your voice down, don't climb on the stone terrace or railings, and take your trash with you. Nongam Jongtaek, an old head family house, is a short walk away.
Plan your visit
Spend 30-60 minutes at the pavilion itself, or make a half day of it on the Yedeongil riverside trail, which links the Gasong-ri car park, Gosanjeong, Nongam Jongtaek, Sapjae, Haksodae and the Geonjisan lookout; one course from Gasong-ri to the Baegunji car park is 4.11 km. Nongam Jongtaek lies a little downstream along the Nakdong River and can be toured from 11:00 to 15:00, since it doubles as a hanok guesthouse (+82-54-843-1202). Pack water and snacks, because there are no shops anywhere on the trail.

Checked on October 13, 2026; confirm on the official site before you go.
