The scene

Teach You a Lesson (Netflix, 2026), No. 1 among Netflix's non-English shows worldwide in June 2026, imagines a government bureau whose inspectors, led by Kim Moo-yeol, step in when teachers lose control of their schools. Local broadcaster TJB and the Kyunghyang Shinmun report that the series used this culture center, the Government Complex Sejong across the street and Sejong's City Symbol Square as main backdrops for the bureau's world. Which scenes were shot here has not been made public.

How to get there
From Seoul Station, take the KTX to Osong Station (about 45–60 minutes). At Osong, board BRT bus B1 (toward Daejeon Station) and get off at Government Complex Sejong South (정부세종청사남측), roughly 30 minutes; B2 and B3 also stop there. Walk to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Government Complex Building 15). The culture center (박연문화관, 갈매로 387) is right across the street. A taxi from Osong Station also works.
From Incheon Airport
, take AREX to Seoul Station, then the KTX to Osong and BRT bus B1 to the Government Complex.
Tip
The ground-floor gallery is open Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00–18:00, and closes on Mondays and national holidays (call 044-850-8974 for current exhibitions). For photos, shoot the exterior from the Galmae-ro sidewalk with the long Government Complex buildings across the street. Weekends are quietest because the ministries are closed. The ministries are working offices with security checks, so stay on public sidewalks and don't photograph guards or entry gates. The City Symbol Square (도시상징광장, 어울누리로 30, Naseong-dong), also named as a backdrop, is a short taxi ride south and usually runs music fountains from spring to mid-October.
Plan your visit
Thirty minutes covers the exterior shots and a look at the gallery. The ground-floor exhibition room is about 200 square meters, and the offices of the Hangeul Culture City Center sit on the third floor of the same building, so exhibitions here often focus on the Korean alphabet. If you go on a weekday, remember the surrounding area is busy with ministry staff at lunch; weekend afternoons give you clear sidewalks.

Checked on October 23, 2026; confirm on the official site before you go.
