The scene
According to the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), this library of towering bookshelves appears in Yumi's Cells as a publisher's book café, where Yu-mi (Kim Go-eun), still on her company's accounting team, opens up to Yoo Babi about her dream of becoming a writer. The series came back for a third season in 2026.

- How to get there
- Take Subway Line 2 or 6 to Hapjeong Station (합정역). From the bus stop at Exit 1, take express bus 2200 toward Paju; it runs up the Jayu-ro expressway and reaches Paju Book City in about 30 minutes. Get off at Eunseokgyo Intersection (은석교사거리), the second stop after the bus leaves the expressway, then walk about 200 m to the Asia Publication Culture & Information Center (아시아출판문화정보센터, 파주시 회동길 145). The library fills its first floor. If you're near the GTX-A line, ride to Unjeong Jungang Station and take town bus 081 from Exit 1 (about 15 minutes).
- Tip
- Open daily 10:00–20:00, and anyone can walk in. The shelves rise about 8 m, so the long corridor gives the best full-height shot. People come here to read, so keep your voice down, skip the flash and don't block the aisles. A Pascucci café in Hall 2 opens at 09:00. The library sometimes closes for events or holidays, so check the notices at forestofwisdom.or.kr before you go. Parking: the first 30 minutes are free, then 2,000 won an hour (24,000 won max per day); spend 10,000 won at the café or bookstore for a free hour.
