The scene

BTS's 2017 music video for “Spring Day” opens at this small country station, with V alone by the tracks on a snowy day. Korea's government policy briefing service and several Korean newspapers name Iryeong Station as the filming location, and ARMY have been visiting ever since.

How to get there
Take Seoul Subway Line 3 or the Gyeongui–Jungang Line to Daegok Station (about 35–45 minutes from central Seoul), then switch to the Gyooe Line Mugunghwa train to Iryeong: about 25 minutes. From the other end, Uijeongbu Station on Line 1, the ride takes about 30 minutes. Trains are infrequent, with about 9 round trips on weekdays and 10 on weekends, so check times in the Korail Talk app first. The base fare is ₩2,600; book on Korail Talk or Let's Korail, or use the ticket machine at Daegok, Iryeong or Uijeongbu station.
Tip
The Gyooe Line reopened in January 2025 after 20 years, and the station was renovated for it: the platform was rebuilt, so it looks tidier than in the video, but this is the only stop on the line that kept its old station building. Frame the station building and name sign from the platform, and come after a snowfall for the MV mood. Never step onto or lie across the tracks: it is illegal under Korea's Railway Safety Act, and trains on this single-track line pass each other here. There are no staff at the station, so facilities are limited. Plan your return train before you arrive, or walk the Gongneungcheon stream path while you wait.

Checked on October 28, 2026; confirm on the official site before you go.
