The scene

Koo Kyo-hwan and Moon Ga-young's hit romance film Once We Were Us shot in Jijok village in May 2024: at this viewing deck over the bamboo weirs, on Changseon Bridge and along the old Jijok street, while the couple's scooter rides follow the coastal road nearby. Released on December 31, 2025, it drew more than 2.3 million moviegoers and led Korea's box office for weeks.

How to get there
Take an intercity bus from Seoul Nambu Terminal to Namhae Intercity Bus Terminal (about 4 hr 30 min, around seven a day). From there, a Namhae county bus to Jijok (지족) takes about 30 minutes; every ride costs a flat 1,000 won, but buses are infrequent, so check times in Naver Map or KakaoMap. A taxi from the terminal takes about 25 minutes. From Jijok village, walk about 10 minutes east along the shore to the deck. Drivers can use the public parking lot under Changseon Bridge. Search 죽방렴관람대.
From Incheon Airport
There is no direct link to Namhae from Incheon Airport. Take the AREX train to Seoul Station, ride the subway to Nambu Bus Terminal, then the intercity bus to Namhae; budget a full travel day.
Hours
Namhae County lists the Changseon Bridge and Jijok Strait weir area as open at all times, every day of the year.
Admission
Free, including the public car park beneath Changseon Bridge.
Tip
Free and open year-round, but the deck is closed at night and in bad weather. Jukbangnyeom are V-shaped fences of oak stakes that trap fish in the strait's fast tides; about 23 remain, they are a national Scenic Site, and in July 2025 the FAO named them a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System. For the best photo, come at sunset, when the weirs line up in front of the red Changseon Bridge. Anchovy season runs roughly May to July. This is a working fishery: don't lean on or climb the railings, and no fishing, food or alcohol on the deck. The old Jijok street seen in the film is a short walk away.
Plan your visit
Allow one to two hours: watch the weirs from the deck, then walk across the 440 m cable-stayed Changseon Bridge (opened 1995) for the view down onto the strait. The Jijok Fishing Village tourist complex and the Jijok public market sit at the same end of the bridge, and local raw-fish restaurants serve anchovy dishes. Coastal cycling course 3 starts nearby and runs from Changseon Bridge to Danhang. Namhae's tourist call centre (1588-3415, 10:00–17:00) can help with bus times.

Checked on October 18, 2026; confirm on the official site before you go.
